Whether it is learning about it in school or practicing anatomy, it takes a while to understand the human body. Many young artists struggle with anatomy and understanding the physiology of the body and it can pose problems in their art.     Anatomy is still something that I am still practicing to this day. To help better my understanding of how the body works and dynamic poses, I typically search for poses on  Pinterest .     Many new artists also tend to draw heads in one direction. When I first started drawing, this was something I struggled with. If drawing digitally, it may be helpful to know there are many tools online to help with lighting and head direction.     On Artstation, there is a tool you can download to help you practice your lighting.   My Growth Over The Years By: Abigail Abueva     I've been drawing since I was a child. From little cards for my mother and father, or drawings for Mother's and Father's Day, I enjoyed drawing and sharing my artwork with them. My father supported me since I was young and continues to do so to this day, and because of him, I was blessed enough to have a paper to draw and practice on.           Many people grow in different ways and at different paces. But we  always continue to grow  as artists and there are ways to do so. Many artists experience this phenomenon, and there are many causes for it occurring and ways to get over it. Causes     There are a few main causes for art block occurring. One is  self-doubt — thoughts such as, "I'm not good enough," or "I'll never get better," can lead artists to become unmotivated. I personally have had many instances where I doubt myself in the middle of an art piece. Days like those are rough, but I still kept drawing and practicing and didn't let my thoughts get the best of me.     The fear of judgment or criticism stops many artists from completing their work. For the new artists out there on a budget, it is crucial to find software that offers the most.      In my review, I'll be going over the pros and cons of three free digital art software and my suggestions as somebody who has used them.    Krita      Pros: Free, Many different brush selections, simple interface, offers a variety of layer options, customizable workspace, offers  animation tools , has blending mode functions, available on Mac, Linux, and Windows. Cons: Lesser-known program —fewer resources and tutorials, doesn't offer nearly as much as paid programs, may be slower and crash for older computers, doesn't offer descriptions on latest updates, text tool isn't as useful, limited support compared to Adobe or  Clip Studio .     As an artist who used this program when I first started drawing,
